Steven “Steve” Zeigman

Steven “Steve” Zeigman, 59, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on May 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born February 14, 1967, in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Morris Zeigman and Shirley Onjack Zeigman. He was also predeceased by a son, Brandon Zeigman.

A Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1985 graduate, he also attended Beaver College. He was employed at Exxon Mobil after previous employment at Foster Wheeler, both in Clinton, NJ. He was an incredible person, had such a positive attitude and witty sense of humor who was always making people laugh. Steve was an avid comic book collector and fiercely loved his family. He will be missed tremendously.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage this past September, Shelly Rogora Zeigman, and sons; Alex and Conner Zeigman, as well as sister, Denise Lobb, brother, Monty Lobb and wife Debbie, and sister-in-law Raenee Mantoni. He is also survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tammy and Mark Rounsaville, who he considered his own family. In addition to his son and father, Steve was also predeceased by his brother, the late David Zeigman.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg & Alpha are coordinating services.
