We understand that planning a funeral can be a daunting task. Our goal is to ease your burden as much as possible. For more than nine decades, we have been assisting families in the Phillipsburg, Alpha, and vicinity with their funeral experience. We are here to answer your questions, make all necessary arrangements with places of worship and cemeteries, complete paperwork and most of all, ensure a dignified, meaningful funeral for your family member or friend. We can also assist you with pre-planning your own funeral.

We would also like to advise the public that the Finegan Funeral Home has always accepted New Jersey Public Assistance Funds to assist in funeral planning for members of our community who are recipients of certain Medicaid programs.

Finegan Funeral Home is family owned and operated. John T. Finegan founded Finegan Funeral Home in 1931 and was joined by his son, James T. Finegan, Sr. in 1958. Today, Jeffrey E. Finegan, Sr., grandson of the founder, continues their tradition of Details, Dignity, and Dependability. For your convenience, we have two funeral homes in Phillipsburg, NJ and Alpha, NJ.
