It is with great sadness, the family of Vincent Szabo (age 68) announce his passing on Thursday June 25th, 2026.

He was born on February 13th, 1958 in Newark, NJ and is the son of late Vincent Szabo Sr and Amalia Szabo.

Vincent was an engineer and dedicated many years working at ThorLabs and prior at Astrodyne TDI. He received his education from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ.

Vince had a love for all things sci-fy. His favorite franchise being Star-Trek. His other hobbies include caring for his freshwater aquarium, golfing, watching movies, and collecting coins. He was known for spreading joy, laughter, and happiness. He had a deep joy for spending time with family. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife Arlene Szabo, his two daughters Lauren Fazzolari and Marissa Cetina, and his granddaughter Ellie Fazzolari.
