Arnold Howell

Arnold Howell, known lovingly as Arnie, A.J., Dad, and Pop-Pop, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026. He was survived by his wife, two siblings, five children, nine grandchildren, and five great‑grandchildren.

Born and raised in the Washington, New Jersey area, Arnie grew up with a strong sense of community. A proud owner and operator of Howell Realty, based in Washington, NJ, Arnie built a life rooted in hard work, connection, and genuine care for the people around him.

He found peace in the simple things—gardening, hunting, and fishing—happiest with dirt on his hands, a rod in the water, or the quiet of the woods around him. Every person he encountered became a friend. Those who knew him will remember him as a gentle giant with a heart big enough to help anyone who needed it.

No services will be held; the family will gather privately.
