Jeanette D. Hensley

Jeanette D. Hensley, 86, of Alpha, NJ passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, at her residence.

Born August 29, 1939, in Morristown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James Van Wart and Murtle Hoodney Van Wart.

Mrs. Hensley was employed at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ, and was a long-time employee of the Mars family. She loved decorating her home for the seasons of the year and holidays, as well as taking care of her garden and flowers.

Survivors are her husband, Richard Hensley, and sons; Warren W. Wright Jr., and William A. Wright. Grandchildren are Warren W. Wright III and Wayne A. Wright and wife Kimme, as well as great grandchildren; Bryson, Skylar, and Milo. Also important to Mrs. Hensley were her dogs; Maybell, Megan, and Molly. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was also predeceased by a sister Ellen A. Van Wart, and brothers, Jimmy Van Wart and Billy Van Wart.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 9th, 2026 from 6 – 8 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 924 2nd Avenue in Alpha, NJ. The Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately.
