Myrna E. Minardi

Myrna E. Minardi, 91, of Alpha, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

Born in Easton Hospital in Wilson Borough, PA on September 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Eric and Cecil Hoffer.

Myrna was a 1951 graduate of Phillipsburg High School. She was married to Ernie Minardi, Sr. for 56 years until his passing in August 2012.

Myrna worked for several local firms in the garment industry. She retired as the librarian for the Borough of Alpha after 20 plus years. It was a job that brought her great joy as she was able to serve her community and help people. Myrna was a nice lady.

Myrna is survived by her son, Ernie, and his wife, Jeanne, of Phillipsburg, NJ, as well as her beloved granddaughters, Sarah, and her husband, Connor, of Gladwyne, PA and Jessica and her fiancé, Nick, of New York City. She is also survived by a sister, Gladys, of Vero Beach, FL and many nieces and nephews. Myrna was predeceased by sisters Eleanor, Gloria and Ruth and brother Jerry.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 6 – 8 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home on 924 Second Avenue in Alpha with a Funeral Mass being held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alpha. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
