Judith A. Fielding

Judith A. Fielding, passed away on December 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband of almost 50 years and her children.  Judy was born November 1, 1955 in Elizabeth, NJ. Judy attended Colonia High School in New Jersey and then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology at Kean University.  While working on her degree she worked at the grocery store A&P in the meat department where she met the love of her life, Richard Fielding.  Judy and Rich married on September 4, 1976, and shared almost 50 years of a marital bliss roller coaster holding each other with each up and down.  Together, they shared three children, Colleen Fielding Turdo, Richard Fielding Jr and Joseph Fielding.  Rich and Judy bought property with her sister Kathy and her husband on Montana Mountain in White Township where they raised their children.  Judy was a dedicated stay at home mother raising her children until her youngest Joey went to elementary school.  Judy then became a kindergarten teachers’ aid at White Township School where her children also attended.  She worked hard for many years ensuring her children had the funds to attend college and become successful in their lives.  Judy retired from White Township school in 2006 when her first grandson Weston James was born.  She was so excited when her little prince was born, she grabbed the wrong suitcase at the airport when traveling to Memphis, TN to meet him for the first time.  From that point on, Judy dedicated her time to caring for her grandchildren and husband Rich.  Judy was a strong woman who always put her family before herself.  She is predeceased by her mother and father, Robert and Marilyn West of Colonia, NJ and in-laws, Richard Sr. and Jean Fielding of Union, NJ.  She is survived by her husband, Richard, children, Colleen Fielding Turdo and fiancé Robert Bartholomew, Richard Fielding Jr, and Joey Fielding and wife Stephanie, grandchildren, Weston, Tommy, Ryder and Wyatt, sisters Linda Netta and husband Michael of Colonia, NJ, Kathy Schutzki and husband Chet of White Township, NJ, brother, Robert West Jr. and wife Lisa of Pocono, PA, sister-in law Patty Daniel and husband Bill of Linden, NJ, brother-in-law Ronald Fielding and his wife Kathy of Austin, MN as well as many generations of nieces and nephews.
