Donald R. Kuehner

Donald R. Kuehner, 68, of Bangor, Pa., passed away suddenly on October 4, 2026, at St. Luke’s Easton Campus. He was born on April 8, 1958, in N. Plainfield, NJ, a son of the late Robert Kuehner and Marilyn Rome Kuehner.

Donald worked as an electrician for 28 years before becoming the owner and operator of QRS, which stood for “Quick Reliable Service.” Specializing in entryway doors, Donald became known to many simply as “Don the Doorman.” He took great pride in his work and had an eye for perfection. Don was a man who knew how to enjoy life and boating was one of his greatest joys. There was something about being out on the water, feeling the freedom of the open air, and having the people he loved nearby that made him happiest. His boat became the setting for countless adventures, stories, laughter, and memories that his family will carry with them forever.

Above all else, he loved his family. Family was at the center of his life, and he cherished every opportunity to bring everyone together. He was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved, creating the kind of memories that would be talked about for years to come.

Don’s legacy will live on in every boat ride, every family gathering, every great adventure—and every fire that gets just a little bigger than it probably needs to be. Most importantly, it will live on in the love he shared with Kathleen, his family, and all those fortunate enough to have been part of his life.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Corcoran Kuehner-Schall; his mother, Marilyn; his children, Carley Kuehner and her partner Tatiana of Milford, Pa., Jason Kuehner and his wife Kerry of Temple, Pa., and Dana Kuehner of Leominster, MA.; along with his stepchildren, Mary Louise Rowlin and her husband Raymond of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, Stephanie Ringhoff and her husband Brian of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Jay Schall and his wife Kristeena of Phillipsburg, NJ.

Donald is also survived by his siblings, Joyce Swart, Carolyn Peterson, and Dan Kuehner; along with his beloved grandchildren, Brooke, Ellah, Addisyn, Raymond, Kaydence, Jay, Baylee, Michenna, Kathleen, Gracie, Zander, Kayley and Blake.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ, followed by a funeral service at 1 P.M., also at the funeral home.
