Emma M. Jones

Emma M. Jones, 97, of New Village, NJ, passed away on February 2, 2026, at her home.

Born August 23, 1928, in New Village, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Guidi and Carola Arceci Guidi. She was also predeceased by her husband, the late Paul Jones, who passed in 2001, daughter, Sandra Ackerman, who passed in 2019, and grandson, Kevin D. Shields, passing in 1998.

Mrs. Jones was a member of St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg, NJ.

She is survived by her children; Beverly Rossetti, Carol Lenz, Douglas, Donald, and David. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and daughter, Emma was also predeceased by brothers; Telie, Armondo, Louis, Reno, and James, and sisters; Dina DeGeroloamo, Edith Brunetti, Elizabeth Leschinsky, and Nellie Guidi.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ, with a funeral service beginning at Noon at the funeral home. The interment will be at St. Philip & St. James Cemetery in Greenwich Township, NJ.
