Leslie L. Watari
Leslie was deeply loved in her community where she devoted her music and friendship to her church family and the beautiful and historic Village of Finesville, Pohatcong, NJ.
Leslie had many interests and a fruitful life. Her Violin accompanied a devoted congregation at Our Lady of Fatima at the Blue Army Shrine where her music enhanced weekly services and are archived on YouTube.
Leslie was a lifelong learner. She took flying lessons, learned the art of Japanese cooking, and spoke and read French. She rode a motorcycle, scuba dove, knitted gifts, was a master gardener, played violin professionally and taught kids of all ages at her home and at a local conservatory. In recent years she also rebirthed her interest in skiing and began teaching people how to ski at a resort., Leslie was well traveled but enjoyed her home life tending to her garden and doting on Botti her cute Pekingese.
Leslie is survived by her boyfriend Guy, her daughters, Mikeala and Lauren, and her brother Kirk. Services will be held at her home on Saturday, September 6th, 2025 at 6pm to celebrate her life of devotion to her faith, friends, and family.
