Robert P. Gallagher

Robert P. Gallagher, of Bethlehem Twp, PA passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

He was the devoted husband of Maureen, and father to Robert P. Gallagher II and Carol A. Gallagher; stepfather to Kurt Scott and Kelly Scott. He was “Pop Pop Bob” to 8 wonderful grandchildren; loving brother to Ed and his wife Cathy. Bob was predeceased by two brothers, James and Michael.

Bob proudly served in the US Navy from 1969-1973. He had two successful careers-the first with the New Jersey Department of Corrections, retiring as a Lieutenant, and later as a rural carrier for the US Post Office in Palmer Twp., PA.

Bob enjoyed traveling, looking for restaurants and diners, and of course, a “good burger”. He loved listening to Bob Dylan, rooting for the Cleveland Browns, and completing the Sunday crosswords in record-breaking time.

Robert P. Gallagher was an intelligent, caring, and genuinely good person who will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
