Raymond Maslonka

Raymond M. Maslonka, 76, entered eternal life on Oct. 9,2024.  His spirit lives on through his daughter, son, and four grandchildren.

He was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Maslonka. He lived in Plainfield Township with his wife Gloria.  This month they would have celebrated 56 years of marriage.

Raymond worked at Bell & Howell until it closed and then at Warren Hospital in maintenance until he retired. Raymond is a United States Marine and volunteered for service spending 13 months in Vietnam.  He received a Purple Heart when the truck he was in hit a land mine.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Maslonka, daughter Adrienne Dech and her husband Shannon Dech, son Aaron Maslonka and his wife Meredith Maslonka, grandchildren Brody and Alexis Dech and Caden and Alina Maslonka, sister Shirley Brandau, brothers John Maslonka, Edward Maslonka, Edwin Maslonka, Nelson Greenleaf.  Sister Jane Cook and brother Barry Greenleaf predeceased Raymond.

Raymond was the perfect family man and came to love and accept Jesus.  Raymond was a good man who was slow to anger and expressed kindness toward others.  He loved his wife, his children, their spouses and his grand-children.  He enjoyed being at the cabin that the family built together.  He will be forever missed.

Funeral service is private and under the direction of the Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg & Alpha.
