Robert Alan Fuller

Robert Alan Fuller

Robert Alan Fuller obtained that final right of way on August 5, 2024, aged 66. Bob was born on December 4, 1957, in Port Arthur, Texas, to parents Jim and Betty Fuller. Bob was the third of four children.

Bob attended Robert E. Lee Elementary School, Thomas Edison Jr. High School, and Thomas Jefferson High School, in Port Arthur, Texas. Along the way, he acquired a group of lifelong friends with whom he remained close ever since.

Following high school, Bob joined the U.S. Navy. Upon completion of boot camp in San Diego, California, and “A” School in Pensacola, Florida, Photographer’s Mate Fuller was attached to Reconnaissance Attack (Heavy) Squadron One (RVAH-1) out of Key West, Florida. The squadron was assigned to the USS Independence CV-62. Bob was aboard the Independence when she deployed to the Mediterranean in the summer of ’77.

After Bob was discharged from the service, he held down several jobs while pursuing an education. It was during this juncture that events transpired that were to change his life. While driving a cab in Austin, Texas, Bob picked up a fare of gentlemen who happened to be in the oil and gas industry. By dint of personality and through persistent effort, Bob was able to have one of these acquaintances introduce him into the business. Bob soon found himself employed as a Right of Way agent working in Pennsylvania.

Soon after Bob moved to Pennsylvania, he met Linda Karp, a native of New Jersey. Bob and Linda hit it off and quickly began to build their life together. They lived in their beautiful home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, overlooking the Delaware River.

Over the years, Bob pursued various hobbies. He took up surfing at a young age where he developed a love for the beach. He and Linda made it a point to get to the beach as often as possible. Bob was an avid reader throughout. He loved music and played the guitar since the ’70s. Bob also kept in close touch with old and new friends alike.

Bob is survived by his wife Linda, his faithful companions, Michael, Kenny, Cori and his son Danny (Christi) Fuller, and his granddaughter Emerson. Bob also leaves behind two brothers, Jimmie Fuller and Bill Fuller.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Anne Bellanger.

Bob was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Furthermore, Bob had a fervent love for the many dogs he and Linda have kept over the years.

At Bob’s request, there won’t be a service.   He will be cremated and his final resting place will be sitting atop a shelf with all of his dogs’ ashes that have left and gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

Donations can be made to a dog rescue of your choice. The Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg & Alpha are handling arrangements. Visit www.fineganfh.com.

Bob was loved and will be missed.
