William J. Winger

William J. Winger, 64, of Stewartsville, NJ, passed away, suddenly, on February 23, 2026, at his home.

Born January 26, 1962, in Flemington, NJ, he was the son of the late John Winger and Dorothy M. Snyder Winger.

Bill was employed by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. He enjoyed poker with friends, was an enthusiastic Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and had played in the Old Timers Softball League in Phillipsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Marinelli Winger, and son, Brandon Winger and his wife, Olivia. Grandchildren are Jameson and Kennedy Winger. Additionally, Bill is survived by a brother John Winger and his wife Dorothy, and sister, Stephanie Winger, as well as nieces; Dana Winger and Heather Jakucyk. Bill was also predeceased by a nephew, the late Jay Jakucyk.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 1 – 3 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ.
