Bonnie Lou (Penyak) Dickson
Bonnie Lou (Penyak) Dickson, 69, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington NJ, surrounded by her siblings. Born March 25, 1957, she was the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Kauffels) Penyak of Milford, NJ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Linda (Penyak) Hoff.
Bonnie graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1975 and earned a degree in journalism from Rider University in 1979. She went on to have a successful career in marketing in New Jersey and New York before retiring in 2016. She was known for her love of horses and enjoyed hiking and boating with her many friends in the lakes and mountains of Ulster County, New York, where she resided for some twenty plus years before returning to New Jersey.
Bonnie is survived by her brother Michael Penyak and wife Suzanne, Milford, NJ, sisters; Diane Penyak, Ruthann (Penyak) Lameira and husband Carlos, Bethlehem, PA and Karen (Penyak) Tooma and husband Nick, Easton, PA, In addition, she is survived by an uncle, Paul Kauffels, Las Vegas, Nevada, and nine nieces and nephews.
A gathering and service for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 noon. The interment will follow at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road in Palmer Township, PA.
