Patrick Gonzalez
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patrick Gonzalez, 62, who entered eternal rest on February 28, 2026.
A true company man, Pat (“Gonzo”) spent his entire career spanning almost 4 decades at Mars – dedicated to making the world a little sweeter. Whether on the production floor or at home, Pat lived the “M&M” life being tough on the outside but a total softie on the inside.
When he wasn’t ensuring the world had its chocolate fix, you could find “Poncho” on the golf course. On the course, as with life, Pat always played the ball where it lay. And if he wasn’t on the green, he was draped in silver and black cheering on his beloved Las Vegas Raiders through every touchdown and heartbreak.
Pat is preceded by his mother, Adele Green, and his best friend, Frank Ricicki. He is survived by his father, Frank Gonzalez, and his brother, Frank Gonzalez. Although no children of his own, Pat was devoted and had a great impact on the lives of his nieces and nephews- Allison, Dakota, Sean, Jay, Brandon, Aiden, and Stephen.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ. Visitation will start at 12:00 noon, with a short service following at 1pm.
