Catherine B. Bovino

Catherine B. Bovino, 90, of Forks Twp., Pa., passed away on March 2, 2026 in her home.

She was born on January 28, 1936 in N. Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion Mills Polon. Catherine worked for Belmont Company in Somerset, NJ as a Secretary to the V. P., for many years.

She loved going to the casinos and anything that had to do with gambling, enjoyed traveling, loved her wine, was an avid reader, but most of all enjoyed her time spent with her great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard who passed away in 2023, along with several of her siblings.

Catherine is survived by her loving children, Debra Rae of Forks Twp., Pa. and Douglas R. Bovino of Flemington, NJ, along with her grandchildren, Deanna Rae Schwartz and her husband Cory, Kacie Adele Drozd and her husband Glenn, along with her great-grandchildren, Tyler Jameson, and Ella Ray. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Calling hour will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 12 noon to 1 P.M. at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ, followed by a service at 1 P.M., at the funeral home.
