Marion P. Kepe

Marion P. Kepe, 83, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, passed away on October 2, 2025 at Complete Care at Brakeley. She was born on September 11, 1942 in Clark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Gabriel and Wilhelminia Klusch Szabo. Marion was a seamstress working in the garment industry for many years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and just enjoyed life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Istvan I. Kepe.

Marion is survived by her loving children, Corrine Bishop and her husband, Bruce of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, Catherine Smigelsky and her husband Robert of Alpha, NJ, and Christine Carter and her husband Timothy of Lopatcong Twp., NJ. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Petrie and her husband Eric of Annandale, NJ, along with her beloved grandchildren, Steven Bishop, Justin Carter, Zach Carter, Aniko Conrad and Alexis Schuitema. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kane Carter, Ryder Carter, Rylan Bishop, Claire Conrad and Hazel Schuitema, and Baby Girl Bishop on the way.

Marion’s wishes were that there be no services.

The Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg and Alpha are coordinating her arrangements.
