Lawrence M. Toscano

Lawrence M. Toscano, passed away at home on September 24, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Larry was born in 1948 and grew up in North Arlington, NJ. He was the son of the late Salvatore and Olympia (Cavalucci) Toscano.

Larry served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy in 1966, where he was aboard the USS Little Rock. The Navy was a source of pride that lasted his entire life.

Larry utilized his creative talents and his sharp eye for detail by working as a draftsman for several years. Later, he owned his own carpentry business, having the ability to design and build anything. Eventually, Larry joined the NJ State Park Service, working in Kittatinny State Park and retiring from there. A lifelong collector of antiques, Larry owned and operated Blackbeard’s Treasures and, later in life, The Mill at Harmony, both alongside his beloved wife. He also enjoyed fishing when he had a free moment.

He is survived by his caretaker and wife of 53 years, Millie; his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Kelly; his daughter and son-in-law, Lara and Channing; and his four treasured granddaughters, Chloe, Lilah, Hayden, and Jalyn. Additionally, he was an adored brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend, and co-worker.

He will always be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, his strong hand shake, and his kind heart.

A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at the Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg, NJ, followed by a Memorial Service at 12 Noon also in the funeral home.
