Richard L. (Beaker) Walsh Jr.

Richard L. (Beaker) Walsh Jr., 88, of Stewartsville NJ, passed away September 21st, 2025, at St. Luke’s – Warren Campus.

Born February 28th, 1937, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he is the son of the late Richard L. Walsh Sr. and Virginia (Williamson) Walsh. He was predeceased by his wife, the late Mary L. (Weidner) Walsh, who passed in August of 2016.

He was a member of the Class of 1955 at Phillipsburg High School, and was a 45-year employee of Baker Chemical. Richard was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and the 76’s! He was also an avid fisherman. He was a long- time PAL coach of Biddies, Midget baseball as well as football. He also coached the Delaware Heights Junior League Baseball team.

Survivors are his children; Mary Jo Aller and husband Rick, and Richard L. Walsh, III and his wife Carol Anne. Grandchildren are Richard L. Walsh IV, (Anthony), Ryan Wade Walsh, (Lauren) John Richard Aller Jr. (Victoria) as well as his great granddaughter, Lyra Louise Bisco Walsh. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by a brother, Robert James (Crooner) Walsh, and a granddaughter, the late Heather Anne Walsh.
