Vita Loughry

Vita Loughry, 83, of Lower Nazareth Township, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on August 17, 2025, in Bethlehem, PA.

Born April 26, 1942, in Suffern, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry Frontino and Rose LaPresti Frontino.

She was employed by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in Belvidere, NJ, working as a cook and housekeeper. Vita was a happy-go-lucky person and a great cook.

Survivors are her husband, Daniel Loughry, and sons; Daniel Henry Loughry and Mark Stephen Loughry, as well as sisters; Josephine Miechur and Henrietta Blanchfield, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Vita was predeceased by sisters, Rosemarie McCrea and Marie Richards.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road in Palmer Township, Pa on September 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

The Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg & Alpha are coordinating arrangements.
