Donald A. Thompson

Donald A. Thompson, 83, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, formerly of Linden, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025 at St. Luke’s Warren Campus. He was born on April 23, 1942 in Elizabeth, NJ, a son of the late Arthur and Agnes Wetzel Thompson.

Don was employed for many years as a checker at Supermarket General. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was an avid outdoorsman who truly enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. He also loved collecting turtles. He was a lifelong member of the Reformed Church of Linden.

He is survived by his loving wife Karin Hurley Thompson, his sons, Robert and his wife Daneida Carr of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, and Donald Thompson of Hamilton Twp., NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Darlene Pulitzer of Roselle, NJ.

A Private Graveside Service will take place in Graceland Cemetery, Kenilworth, NJ.
