Dorothy J. Kepner
Dorothy J. Kepner, 92, of Palmer Township, PA, passed away on July 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 6, 1933, in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Edward Harling and Esther Mohr Harling. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by husbands, William F. Fisher, who passed in 1972, and Robert Kepner, who passed in 2018.
She was employed at Easton Hospital as a housekeeper in the maternity ward. Previously, she was employed at Fredwell Company, formerly in Easton. Dorothy was an avid Christmas cookie maker along with her famous Carrot cake. She loved casino’s, was the 500 Rummy Champ and was known as the “card shark.” Above all else, she loved her family with all that she had!
Survivors are her children, Linda Sheridan and husband Rick, and Robert “Billy” Fisher and his wife Teresa. Grandchildren are Casey Faust, Katie Sheridan, and Kayla Johnson, as well as great grandchildren; Raelyn and Lukas Faust. Also surviving is a sister, Joan Bartish. In addition to her parents and husbands, Dorothy was also predeceased by a sister Eleanor Koose and her twin brother, Robert Harling.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 6 – 8 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 924 2nd Avenue in Alpha, NJ, with a Memorial Service beginning at 8 pm.
