Martha Richline
Martha Richline, a lifelong resident of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Affectionately known as “Aunt Mart” by many—whether related by blood or not—her kind spirit and loving heart made her a cherished presence in countless lives.
She was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Mary Perine (both deceased), and was married to George Richline (deceased). Together, they had one son, James (deceased). She was also predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Nelly, Carmella, Rose, and James.
Martha is survived by her granddaughters, Jenna and Jasmine, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who adored her deeply.
Martha worked for many years as a school bus driver and later with the Board of Education in Phillipsburg, where she eventually retired. Known for her warm smile and caring demeanor, she left a lasting impact on the children and families she served.
A devoted member of Saint Philip and Saint James Catholic Church, Martha was deeply rooted in her faith. She gave generously of her time, volunteering for countless church functions and always offering a helping hand to those in need. Whether through a thoughtful gesture, a listening ear, or a shared laugh, Martha’s life was a reflection of selflessness and devotion to others.
Martha also had a special love for lighthouses. For those who loved her, lighthouses will forever serve as gentle reminders of her steady spirit, her quiet strength, and the light she brought into so many lives.
