Louise E. Guidi

Louise E. Guidi, 95, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on July 7, 2025, at the Care Center of Lopatcong.

Born October 23, 1929, in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John Sands and Elizabeth Bell Sands. She was also predeceased by her husband, the late James J. Guidi, and her son, the late James Guidi Jr., who passed in 2024.

Mrs. Guidi was a member of St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, was active at the Phillipsburg Senior Center, and was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1948.

Survivors are her son, Jack Guidi and wife Connie, daughter-in-law Jill Guidi, as well as grandchildren; Jessica Rehl and husband Adam, James Guidi III, Matthew Guidi and wife Ashley, and Jeffrey Guidi. Great grandchildren are Logan, Lilliana, Lexi, Daisy, Eva, Emma, Sadie, and Paul, as well as nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 10 – 11 am at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ, with a funeral service beginning at 11 am, at the funeral home. The interment will be at St. Philip & St. James Cemetery in Greenwich Township, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
