Beverly R. Hay

Beverly R. Hay, passed away on June 29, 2025, at Complete Care of Phillipsburg.

Born August 23, 1937, in Wilson Borough, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. Purdy and Emma Coulp Purdy.

A homemaker for most of her life, she was a resident of Phillipsburg since 1956. She was a graduate of Wilson High School, Class of 1955. Beverly enjoyed cooking and baking and excelled at both. Her holiday meals and baked goods were legendary. She enjoyed puzzle books, newspaper crossword puzzles, board games, and was an avid fan of the Hallmark Channel and the Food Network. She was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Easton. She loved her pets, especially Dachshunds Rusty and Schultz and Parakeet, Sky Blue.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Richard, who passed in 2014, as well as a brother Jordan.

Survivors include a son Richard, daughter Deborah, both of Phillipsburg, and several cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Complete Care of Phillipsburg for their excellent care of Beverly while she was a resident for the past six months.
