Oreste L. Rogora

Oreste L. Rogora, 100, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on May 24, 2025, in Phillipsburg.

Born May 14, 1925, in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Andrea and Guiseppina Zocchi Rogora.  

Mr. Rogora served in the United States Marine Corp during World War 2, namely at the Battle of Okinawa. Following the war, he was employed at Ingersoll Rand for 25 years and Sheridan Printing in Alpha, NJ for 20 years.

He is survived by children; Bruce Rogora of Hellertown, PA, Sharon Zito of Easton, PA, Deborah Reda of Lopatcong Township, NJ, William Rogora and wife Gail of Murrells Inlet, SC, Tamra Rounsaville and husband Mark of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Shelly Zeigman and husband Steven, also of Phillipsburg. Grandchildren are Barbara, Scott, Dena, Michele, Louis, Marcy, Alex, and Conner, as well as great grandchildren; Kylee, Megan, Zoe, Colton, Sloane. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by grandson Brandon Zeigman, daughter-in-law Sharon Rogora, sons-in-law, Michael Zito and Mark Reda, sister Della Young, and brother William Rogora.
