Nancy M. Procita
Nancy M. Procita, 78, of Alpha, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025 in her home.
She was born on March 12, 1947 in Phillipsburg, NJ, a daughter of the late Donald and Irene Vincler Deemer. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and a graduate of Phillipsburg High School Class of 1965 and Churchman’s Business School. Nancy also enjoyed gardening and feeding the chipmunks and bluejays with peanuts off her knee.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 35 years in July, Anthony, her daughter, Deborah L. Shaffer (Louis Markus, Jr.) of Alpha, NJ, her aunt and uncle, John and Beverly Vincler of Jim Thorpe, Pa, and two step-daughters along with her grandchildren, Emily Collins (Bobby), Brendan Condron, Dominic Sverha and Nicole Corey, and Kelin Duckworth (Rachel) of Palmer PA. She is also survived by her primary caregiver and angel, Zena Miller, and her grand fur babies, Kodi and Sparky who she loved dearly.
Services will be private with interment in Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ.
The Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg and Alpha are coordinating her arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UPenn Memory Center in memory of Nancy (Giving to Penn)
