German Roldan, Jr.,

German Roldan, Jr., 70, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on April 12, 2025 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born on November 17, 1954 in Manhattan, New York, a son of the late German Roldan, Sr., and Isabelita O’Neal Roldan. He worked in the finance industry as an operations support with several Banking institutions. Later on in life, German worked in retail.

German loved photography, gardening, was a talented musician, playing the saxophone. German was a person of faith and was an ordained minister and a leader in his church. He was passionate about being a mentor and a motivator. He had a great sense of humor, was a loving attentive and peaceful man. He was his son’s hero.

He is survived by his mother, Isabelita, his loving wife of 46 years, Betty Gonzalez Roldan of Phillipsburg, NJ, his son Jordan Ariel Roldan of Phillipsburg, NJ, his siblings, David Roldan and his wife Connie of Belleville, NJ and Daniel Roldan of Manhattan, New York. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, David Paul, Jessica C., Jennifer B., and Daniel E.

Family and friends are invited to a calling period from 11 AM to 12 Noon on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12 Noon.
