Laura Badway

Laura A. Badway, 95, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on February 2, 2025, surrounded by her family in the home where she was born.

Born March 14, 1929, in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Fred Marzuoli and Rose Piazza Marzuoli. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Emil Badway, who passed in 2005.

She worked alongside her husband at Glen Magnetics, in Alpha, NJ, for over 30 years. She had a passion for traveling. Together with her husband, they visited numerous countries around the world. Gathering the family for Sunday spaghetti dinner, brought her much joy.

Mrs. Badway is survived by her children; Robert and wife Beth, Richard and wife Barb, Randy and wife Daniela, and Lori Hanni and fiancé, David Bradley. Grandchildren are Amy, Michael, Nicole, Sean, Martina, Anthony, and Callie, as well as great grandchildren; Grace, Ava, Chase, Carson, and Piper. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by grandson Ricky, who also passed in 2005, and brothers, Philip and Francis Marzuoli.

Funeral services are private and under the direction of the Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg & Alpha.

The Badway family would like to acknowledge and thank evening care giver Rosina as well as Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice aide, Donna.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude’s or KAQ Hospice.
