Paul A. Riegel Sr.

Paul A. Riegel Sr., 92, of Bloomsbury, NJ, passed away on December 7, 2024, at the Lopatcong Center.

Born November 21, 1932, in Holland Township, NJ, he was the son of the late Raymond and Anna Harrison Riegel. He was predeceased by his wife, the late Janet Lippincott Riegel, as well as sons, Paul A. Jr., and Perry Sr.

Mr. Riegel served in the US Army during the Korean War and was the owner and operator of R & R Hauling in Bloomsbury, NJ. He loved working with his hands and making things from scratch.

He is survived by grandchildren; Perry, Kristi and her husband David, Richard, and Scott, and great grandchildren; Brendan, Abigail, Dylan, David, Austin, and Madison. Paul is also survived by a sister, Margaret, and step-daughter, Bonnie Mink. He was also predeceased by brothers Bud and Harold, and sisters, Elizabeth, Dorothy, and Helen.  

A calling hour will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 11 – 12:00 noon at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ, with a service at funeral home, beginning at 12:00 noon. The interment will be at the Greenwich Cemetery in Greenwich Township, NJ.
