Helen Virginia Jiorle
Helen Virginia Jiorle (nee DeLuca,) 93, of Phillipsburg, NJ, went to heaven on November 6, 2024, surrounded by her family.
She was the only child of Victor and Cecilia DeLuca (nee Piperata) and was born in Easton, PA, December 10, 1930. She graduated from Easton High School in 1948. Helen married Frank Jiorle of Phillipsburg. They celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary this past September.
Helen worked at Ingersoll Rand and Ecolair in the accounting departments. She loved to cook and bake for her family, friends, and anyone who came to the house.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Jiorle Sr., and sons; Frank Jr. and wife Victoria, and Robert and his wife Mary Lou. Grandchildren are Frank III, Michael, Nicholas, and Beth. She is also survived by step-grandchildren: Misty, Michelle, Christopher, as well as great grandchildren: Gabriel, Xavier, Augustus, Maleana, Cael, Nicholas; and step-great grandchildren: Camryn, Greyson, Paxtyn, Anna, Jackson.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 5 – 8 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church on 5th Avenue in Alpha, NJ. The entombment will be at St. Philip & St. James Mausoleum in Greenwich Township, NJ.
