Frank J. Sciabica
Frank J. Sciabica, 95, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on September 18, 2024, at Abington Manor in Williams Township, PA.
Born January 4, 1929, in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Santo Sciabica and Theresa Formosa Sciabica. He was predeceased by his wife, the late Eva Pavkovic Sciabica, who passed in 1986.
Frank served in the United States Army and was a 40-year employee of Ingersoll Rand in Phillipsburg where he worked as a machinist. He was a member of both Citizens Hose and the West Easton AA, as well a life-long member of St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg.
Survivors are his children; Christine Cito, Caroline Plesko and husband Steven, Samuel Sciabica and wife Judy, and Lisa Frinzi and husband Matt. Grandchildren are Chelsea, Tyler, Rana, Matthew, Daniel, Samuel, Eva Marie, Emily, and Ryan. Great grandchildren are Mason, Allison, and Anthony. Mr. Sciabica is also survived by a sister, Marie Tracey and husband Gordon, and brother, Anthony Sciabica and wife Valerie. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also predeceased by a sister, Margaret Pavkovic.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 5 – 7 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 So. Main Street, also in Phillipsburg.
