Edward L. Chesley, Jr.

Edward L. Chesley, Jr., 91, of Easton, Pa., formerly of Dunellen, NJ, went to his eternal home on August 5, 2024.

He was born on February 19, 1933 in Belleville, NJ, a son of the late Edward L. Chesley, Sr. and Ruth Buzzel Chesley.

Ed was a salesman for most of his life. He was an active member of the Greenbrook Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Nan Gilmore.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Moreland Chesley, his loving children; Yvonne Nemec and her husband Steve of Harmony Twp., NJ, Sharon Faulk and her husband James of Maumelle, AR, and Donald Chesley and his wife June of Marriottsville, Maryland. Ed is also survived by his grandchildren; Stephen, Andrew, Emily, Grace, Carly, Rosalie and Kent, along with his great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Dean, Reese and Amelia.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a viewing on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at Greenbrook Baptist Church, 170 Greenbrook Rd., Greenbrook Twp., NJ 08812. A Funeral Service will follow at Noon in the church.

Interment will then take place at Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway, NJ 08854. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Ed to the Gideons at www.gideons.org/donate
