Maureen Elizabeth Blackford

Maureen Elizabeth Blackford, 83, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on June 1, 2024 at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Born on January 15, 1941 in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy Sheedy.

Survivors are her children; Denise Williams and her husband Robert, Darlene Cuttic and husband Thomas, James R. Blackford, Jr. and wife Maryann, and Robert Blackford and wife Krista. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband James R. Blackford, Sr., 1 sister and 5 brothers.

Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and going to the casino.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 12-4PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St. Phillipsburg, NJ. A Memorial Service will then follow at 4 PM in the funeral home.
