Edna C. “Tyna” McNamire

Edna C. “Tyna” McNamire, 73, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on May 17, 2024.

Born November 28, 1950, in Milford, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Keith McNamire and Margaret Boyd McNamire.

Edna was employed at the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton, NJ, where she worked directly with the center’s clients. She was a very generous person, usually making contributions to organizations providing animal welfare.

Survivors are her companion, Sharie Lefler, and son, Lake Dobes and wife Abbey. Additionally, she is survived by granddaughter Aurora, sister, Margaret McNamire Jensen, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and beloved dogs, Kika & Sophie.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family and are under the direction of the Finegan Funeral Homes of Phillipsburg and Alpha.
