James R. Pacenti

James R. Pacenti, lovingly known as Jim, passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born November 14, 1947, Jim was the son of the late Arthur Pacenti and Santa (Sandra) Maragulia Pacenti. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elisa Pacenti, and his brother, Robert Pacenti.

He is survived by his three daughters, Christine, Trisha, and Jamie; his two grandchildren, Carly and Steven; and his ex-wife and friend, Sandra. Who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Jim dedicated 50 years of his life to the electrical trade. He began his career as a member of the electrical union before eventually establishing his own company, Pace Electric. He took great pride in his work and in building a business of his own.

Outside of his career, Jim found his greatest joy in the outdoors. An avid hunter and member of the Merrill Creek hunting club, he loved spending time in nature, hiking, and being on the river. In his younger years, he also achieved the rank of third-degree black belt, reflecting his dedication, discipline, and determination.

Jim will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his many years of hard work, and the cherished memories he created with those closest to him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in Jim’s memory.

Services will be private and are under the direction of the Finegan Funeral Home in Phillipsburg.
