Mabel M. Bennett

Mabel M. Bennett, 89, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on October 13, 2024 at St. Luke’s Warren Campus.

She was born on June 4, 1935 in Flemington, NJ, a daughter of the late Samuel and Carrie Miller Whitehead.

Mabel was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, canning and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carl Bennett, who passed away in 1998, along with her son, the late Edward Carl Bennett Jr., and her daughter, the late Sharon Hansen.

Mabel is survived by her loving children, Samuel, Ronald, both of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Robby Bennett of Pen Argyl, Pa, along with her siblings, Edna Reynolds of Ringoes, NJ, Ronald Whitehead of Kingwood, NJ, Alice Emery of Ringoes, NJ, and Catherine Beatty of Flemington, NJ. Mabel is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In honoring Mabel’s request, there will be no formal services.
