Yvonne “Dee” Walter

Born on October 26, 1932 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Elsie Morgan Thomas.

She was employed with Warren Hospital in the billing department for over 25 years. Yvonne loved bingo, reading, and was honored to have celebrated 37 years of marriage on May 29, 2019. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Walter, who passed away on November 29, 2019, along with her siblings, Thalia Thomas, Lloyd, Lawrence, Llewellyn and Leslie Thomas.

“Dee” is survived by her loving children; Debbie Bogoly, Denise Snyder and her husband Brian, Denny Staples and his wife Billie Jean, Dawn Rick and her husband John, David Rogers and his wife Michele, and Michele “Shelly” Rogers. She is also survived by her step-children; Eugene Walter, Jr. and his wife Donna, Debra Bitzer, Patrick Williamson, Arthur Williamson and his wife Debbie, her siblings, Vivian Singley and Marsha Sciss and her partner Jessie Deemer. She also is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 2PM to 4PM at The Finegan Funeral Home 924 2nd Ave., Alpha, NJ., followed by a service at 4PM. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
