William J. Lawless

William J. Lawless, 81, of Whitehall, PA, passed away on January 5, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown, PA.

Born July 23, 1940, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Marjorie and William Lawless. He was the loving husband of Margo S. Lawless.

Bill served his country as a United States Army captain during the Vietnam War era. As a salesman for Bethlehem Steel until their close, Bill was assigned to Philadelphia, Wilkes Barre/Scranton, and the Lehigh Valley. Bill founded Harvest Finishing Company which he owned until 2002 when he changed career paths and become a Board-Certified Drug and Alcohol Interventionist retiring in January 2021.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Margo S. Lawless of Whitehall, sons, Michael, Mark, John Patrick, and daughter, Ruthanne.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Avenue in Northampton, PA. There are no calling hours. Entombment will held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date. The Finegan Funeral Home in Palmer Township is handling arrangements.
