William G. Nicusanti

William G. Nicusanti, 85, of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2023 at his home.  Born on February 22, 1938, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of William “Chick” Nicusanti and Anita (Luzietti) Nicusanti.  William was lovingly known as "Nic” by his family, friends and co-workers. 

Nic grew up in the Valley View section of Phillipsburg, NJ where he graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1955. He was a talented accordion player, a catcher in local baseball leagues, and a wrestler.  He was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, an avid reader, a fisherman, loved the beach and a car enthusiast. 

His professional career was in drafting, engineering, and management positions with Ingersoll Rand in Phillipsburg, NJ, and Ecolaire in Easton, PA.   He was Vice President of the Condenser Div. with the Atlantic Group in Virginia Beach, VA.  In the 1970s/80’s he also served as the building inspector for Lopatcong Township. 

Nic was an active member of St. Rocco's RC Church, Martins Creek, PA, and was involved in St. Rocco's Annual Festival.  He was twice Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #14082. 

Nic is survived by his wife, Linda (Campione) Nicusanti; his three sons, Keith, husband of Lori; Kevin husband of Maria; and Todd husband of Lisa; stepson Anthony Campione partner of Fred, and stepdaughter Kristen Campione. He also leaves behind six loving grandchildren, Vance, Miranda, Will, Julia, Braelynn Grube, and Kendall Grube.  His father and mother both preceded him in death. 

He will be deeply missed by all for his easy-going and fun-loving spirit, keen wit, sense of humor, his love of family and his commitment to church. 

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 10, 2023 from 6:30 to 8 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Rocco’s Roman Catholic Church, 6658 School Street, Martins Creek, PA at 11 AM, April 11, 2023, with visitation from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at the church.  Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in William’s name to the American Heart Association, St. Rocco's Roman Catholic Church, or charity of choice.
