Born on February 26, 1949 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Marvin and Evelyn Rice Dehart.
Bill loved spending time with his family and would always put their needs ahead of his. He also had love for listening to his rock music. Bill enjoyed going to the Huntington Firehouse on Friday nights.
Bill received an honorable discharge from the United States Army in August of 1968.
Bill was as a fork lift operator at Bihler of America in Alpha, N.J. before retiring in 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Loiacono Dehart, along with his children, Jason of Atlanta, Ga., and Kristi Whitcomb and her husband, Chris of Washington, N.J., and his grandson Nathaniel. Also surviving is his mother-in-law, Nancy Loiacono, and his brothers, Robert and his wife Pat of Belfast, Pa., Glen and his wife Dee of Nazareth, Pa., and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday September 8, 2018 from 12 to 2 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St. Phillipsburg. Service to follow at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
