Wayne R. Apgar

Wayne R. Apgar, 67, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away at home on Monday, October 12, 2020.

Born on March 9, 1953, in Whitehouse, NJ, he was the son of the late Russell and Dolores (Cox) Apgar.

Wayne was an avid sports fan, following both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys, he also loved Marvel Comics, Star Trek and all things Science Fiction.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Diane M. (Webb) Apgar, his children; Tracy Freeman and her husband Lou, of Bangor, PA, Jeremy Apgar and his wife Alicia, of Milford, NJ, John Gardner and his wife Patricia, of Phillipsburg, NJ, Daniel Gardner and his wife Melissa, of Wharton, NJ, and James Gardner and his wife Kelly, of Walnut Port, PA, his sixteen grandchildren, his siblings, Allen Apgar and his wife Robin and Sharon Apgar and his nieces and nephews.

Services are to be held privately. The Finegan Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
