Thomas Patrick Minchin

Thomas Patrick Minchin, 54, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 22, 2020.

Thomas was born on May 25, 1965, in Easton, PA, he is the son of the late Warren Minchin, Sr., and Florence (Wagner) Minchin.

Thomas was a graduate of Phillipsburg Catholic High School and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Business. He loved the Boy Scouts of America, having attained the ranking of an Eagle Scout and later served as a Scout Master. Thomas was involved in the Phillipsburg chapter of the Jaycees. Tom had a passion for photography, NASCAR and WWE He dedicated much of his later life to taking care of his elderly father, taking many trips with him to various car shows. He was somewhat of a cat aficionado, who had a profound love for them and rescued and housed many who had all but been given up on.

He is survived by his brothers; Brooks, of Mentone, CA, Timothy J., of Phillipsburg, NJ, Harvey and his wife, Jeanette, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, and his many loving nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Thomas was predeceased in death by his brother, Warren (Dink) Minchin, Jr., and his nephew, Zachary Minchin.

Services are scheduled to be held privately and have been entrusted to the care of the Finegan Funeral Home.
