Steve (Corky) Chanda, Jr.

Steve (Corky) Chanda, Jr. 75, formerly of Brainards, NJ and currently of Easton, PA passed away peacefully in the company of his loving wife, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

Born on September 23, 1946, in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Steve and Lillian Chanda.  After graduating from Belvidere High School in 1965, he went on to serve in the US National Guard. Steve married his wife of 50 years, Barbara Nemeth on June 26, 1971.

Steve was an employee of Verizon for over 36 years. A member of the Brainards Rod and Gun Club and the Golden Arrows Motorcycle Club.  He enjoyed playing golf, sport hunting, snowmobiling and racing stock cars. After retiring, Steve enjoyed frequently visiting the beautiful beaches of Jamaica.

Steve leaves behind his devoted wife Barbara and dog Chewie.

No services will take place, as Steve requested, but appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.  He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
