Stephen R. Drenzek, Jr.

Stephen R. Drenzek, Jr., 29, of Loveland, CO, and formerly of Easton, PA, passed away in an automobile accident on his way home from work on January 17, 2023.

Born on February 9, 1993, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of Stephen R. Drenzek, Sr., (Vicki Bechtel) and Dawn M. (Berger) Weisel (Jeff).

Stephen graduated from Easton High School in 2011, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Temple University and worked as a Civil Engineer for Ridgetop Engineering in Windsor, CO. Stephen was a free spirit who loved to be outdoors, he especially loved off roading with his KTM dirt bike and his multiple Jeeps. Stephen cherished his network of friends, with whom he was incredibly close and shared a strong bond.

Along with his parents, Stephen is survived by his sister, Heather Drenzek, of Seymour, TN, his nephew, Dominic Matlock, whom he loved to tease, his grandparents, Eugene and Bernice Drenzek, of Asbury, NJ, and Elwood Berger, of Stewartsville, NJ and his aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephen was predeceased by his grandmother, Ethel Berger.

The automobile accident, which claimed Stephen’s life, also took the life of his beloved dog, Goose. The two were inseparable.

Calling Hours are scheduled for Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10 AM to 1 PM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA, with a Memorial Service to directly follow.
