Stephen E. Kaminski

Born on Dec. 22, 1940, in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Vergie M. Loney Kaminski.

Stephen worked at J.T. Baker Chemical in the shipping and receiving department in Phillipsburg, NJ, for many years. He was a soldier with the Salvation Army, attended the Salvation Army in Easton, PA, where he was the Band Master at the Easton Corp. and as the Band Master, he taught many young people how to play instruments and nourished their love of music.
He loved music and enjoyed playing multiple instruments. He liked fishing and going crabbing. Stephen graduated from Easton High School Class of 1959, where he was a member of the Red Rover Marching Band.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, who passed away in 2006.

He is survived by his children, Ernest Kaminski of Palmer Twp., Pa., and Robin Hanisak and her husband James of Phillipsburg, NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Emmajean Fehnel of Bethlehem Twp., Pa., along with his grandchildren, Tyler Hanisak, Sgt. Kyle Hanisak, Kevin Cure, Nathaniel Laskey, and Adam Dickson. Additionally, he is survived by his great-grandchildren, Brandon and Connor Cure, Anthony and Angelina Laskey, and several nephews and one niece.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., PA. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at 11 a.m., with Captain Barbara Cure as the celebrant. Interment will follow at The Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., PA.
