Shirley M. Nawrocki

Born January 6, 1934, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ella Rent.

She was employed for many years at Glassman High Voltage in High Bridge, N.J., where she worked as an electronic assembler. Mrs. Nawrocki was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Phillipsburg where she was active with the church Bible study. Shirley was best known for her keen sense of humor.

Survivors are her husband, Walter F. Nawrocki, and children; Charmayne Richline and husband Michael, of Moore Township, PA, Dawn Paulus and husband Daniel, of Winnsboro, S.C., Chuck Hoerl of Easton, Gilbert Hoerl of Baltimore, and Karen Salter of Saylorsburg, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Amanda, Michelle, Danielle, Justin, Nicholas, Lindsay, Drew, Regan, Makenzie, Jessica, and Kaylee, as well as great grandchildren; Kyaire, KeMya, Benjamin, and Abigail. Additional survivors are a brother Kenneth Rent of Bel Air, MD, and sister Patricia Mize of Baltimore. Shirley was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019, at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg from 10:15am to 11:15am followed by the funeral service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 500 Hillcrest Boulevard in Phillipsburg, N.J., at 12:00 noon. The interment will be at the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township, PA.
