Sebastiano Galati

Sebastiano Galati, 83, of Santo Stefano di Camastra, Sicily, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.

Born on March 18, 1937, in Santo Stefano, Sicily, he was the son of the late Carmelo and Domenica (Ninfo) Galati.

Sebastiano retired as a Master Carpenter after working many years for Eisenhardt Mills, in Easton, PA, and he was also the unofficial record holder of the world’s largest zucchini, earning him the endearing title of “cucuzza man”.

He is survived by his wife, Giovanna (Morici) Galati, his children; Domenica Nicolosi and her husband Toby, Carmelo A. Galati, Ph.D., and Francesco Galati, and his grandson, Parker Nicolosi.

Services are to be held privately and have been entrusted to the Finegan Funeral Home.
