Samuel E. Shramko

Samuel E. Shramko, 83, of Kunkletown, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on May 29, 2021, at Whitehall Manor, Whitehall, PA.

Born on April 29, 1938, in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel Shramko, Sr., and Mary Olah Shramko.

He was a United States Navy Veteran serving from 1956 to 1959. Sam worked for JCP&L Company, as a Senior Chief Lineman for 43 years. He truly enjoyed Indy and NASCAR racing, hunting, fishing, and the Pocono Mountains. His number one enjoyment was his job. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by both his wives', Joan A. Chanda Shramko and Linda Dilts Shramko, along with his brother, David and his grandson, Brandon.

He is survived by his loving children, Donna Au, of Kunkletown, PA, Samuel N. of Stroudsburg, PA, David F. of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Maryann Shramko, of Azle, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jesse, Shannon, Rachel, Heather, Jennifer, Stephanie, Marissa and Taylor, along with 11 great- grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ, followed by a Funeral Service at 8 p.m. Inurnment will be held privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
